NS Kumbar Art Academy proudly presents CHITRAKAR - Internstional Art Competition, Exhibition & Awards. This event is designed to inspire and celebrate the creativity of young artists from around the world. Here’s everything you need to know:
Eligibility: 3.5 years and above
Entry Fee: Applicable ( based on your category )
Medium: Pencil, color pencils, oil, acrylic, watercolor, poster, etc.
Subject: Art Within You (This is a selection round to enter the Chitrakar Exhibition and Awards 2024)
Selection Round Registration: Online
Last Day to Register: 30th September 2024
(Please register as soon as possible to have ample time to submit your artwork and gather votes for selection in the Chitrakar Exhibition and Awards 2024.)
Selection Round Details:
- All participants will receive a Chitrakar Digital Certificate of Appreciation online.
- 100 participants will be selected from the selection round and will be eligible to exhibit their artwork at the Chitrakar Exhibition and Awards.
- 70 will be selected by a jury.
- 30 will be chosen based on public votes across all categories.
Selection Round Details:
- 30 Chitrakar Awards will be given.
- 20 Best Art Awards will be selected from the 100 exhibited artworks at the Chitrakar Exhibition, including all categories.
Award Benefits:
- Chitrakar Award: CHITRAKAR International Award (trophy, certificate, exclusive art kit, and a 1-month specialized painting course coupon with NS Kumbar Sir)
- Best Art Award: International Best Art Award (trophy, certificate, and art kit)
Chitrakar Exhibition and Award Venue: Rangoli Metro Art Center, MG Road, Bangalore
Chitrakar Exhibition and Awards Date: The date will be informed only to the 100 selected participants.
Chitrakar Awards Event Entry: Only for VVIP Gold invitation holders
Chitrakar Exhibition Gallery Entry: Free entry for all
Guidelines for the 100 Selected Participants:
- Exhibition Fee: Applicable for those selected to exhibit their work.
- Painting Size and Timeline: Specific details regarding painting sizes and submission deadlines will be provided to selected participants. Participants must send their original artwork by the specified dates. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Shipping and Responsibility:
- Selected artists are responsible for sending their artwork to the exhibition venue by the given deadlines.
- Participants must retrieve their artwork within 15 days after the event concludes.
- The Chitrakar team will handle the display of selected artworks but will not be responsible for any damages to the artwork or framing.
Ownership of Awarded Artworks: Artworks selected for awards will become the property of the Chitrakar team and will not be returned.
Judgment: The jury experts' decisions regarding the best entries for the exhibition and awards are final.
